Data protection and research.
Regarding the use of personal data in research, BES-SSTED Project, is implemented in accordance with REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
The recipients or categories of recipients of personal data: They will be only teachers registered in the evaluation tool, will only have access to the performance data of students in their classroom or session, and only the name and surname. Not to the rest of the registration data.
Researchers from (UTB, UCAV, USZ, TIC) will have access to the complete data for scientific or statistical purposes in order to meet the requirements established by the project's funding entity, which are detailed below.
Information on international transfer of personal data: the information provided will in no case be transferred to third parties outside the EU space.
Retention period: The application will be operational until August 31, 2026, and the data will be deleted 1 year after its closure.
Purpose of the research: The aim of the project will be to make an investigation of the specificities of business creation of students and young people (including foreign students and migrants), the application of not only foreigners in the business environment of regions affected by depopulation. The objective is to produce several outputs, such as designing and developing an assessment tool that measures entrepreneurial potential and improves entrepreneurial skills and capabilities, thus increasing the entrepreneurial potential of students (including possible benchmarking with EU universities). This activity will also include the definition of parameters for start-up entrepreneurs and the definition of areas for the evaluation of the entrepreneurial process (for the assessment of entrepreneurial potential).
Scientific methods to be employed: Qualitative, Quantitative and Statistical analysis (means, max-min, correlations, kurtosis, skewness...), always with anonymized data.
Possible research results: Publication of statistical data in anonymized form on the results of use and evaluation of the tool users through reports required by the funding entity, articles or similar in both electronic and physical support. Always with anonymized data.

This privacy policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with respect to information they share and/or collect on the BES-SSTED project.
The management and responsibility for this privacy and data use policy is shared among the three universities participating in the project: Univerzita Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně (UTB), Universidad Católica Santa Teresa de Jesús de Ávila (UCAV), Uniwersytet Szczeciński (USZ), as well as Technologické Inovační Centrum Zlín (TIC). That is, the three universities and the institution, are co-responsible.

In line with Article 89 of REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons all information collected is used for academic purposes only, never for commercial purposes.
Log files
The BES-SSTED project follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files record visitors when they visit web sites. All hosting companies do this, and they are part of the analysis of hosting services. The information collected by the log files includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the information is to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement on the website. Our Privacy Policy and registration was created in accordance with the content and regulation of: REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
Cookies and web beacons
Like any other website, BES-SSTED Project uses "cookies". These cookies are used to store information including visitor preferences and which pages of the website the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the user experience by customizing the content of our website based on the visitor's browser type and/or other information.

We would like to ensure that you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user has the right to the following:
Right of access: you have the right to request copies of your personal data.
Right of rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information that you believe to be inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete any information that you consider incomplete.
Right of erasure: You have the right to request that we delete your personal data if you so request by contacting the Data Protection Officers. Under certain conditions specified at the end of this section.
Right to restrict processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
Right to object to processing: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if you so request by contacting the Data Protection Officers. Under certain conditions specified at the end of this section.
The right to data portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the data we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions specified at the end of this section.
We remind you that at any time you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition of your data, by writing an email to UTB, UCAV, USZ or TIC, with a copy of your ID, to dpo@utb.cz or proteccion.datos@ucavila.es or iod@usz.edu.pl or gdpr@ticzlin.cz.
You must indicate the right you wish to exercise (of the above mentioned). If you make a request, we have one month to respond. Information about children
Another part of our priority is to add protection for children while using the Internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate and/or supervise and guide their online activity.
BES-SSTED Project does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 18. If you believe that your child has provided such information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
